The Amilcar Cabral Submarine Cable provides a critical alternative to the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) cable and links Praia (Cape Verde) to Banjul, Bissau, Conakry, Monrovia, and Freetown. Edward led the technical contributions for feasibility studies and project structuring. Supported by the World Bank WARDIP program with $50 million USD mobilised to Guinea and The Gambia.
