About me
I am a seasoned infrastructure Project Management Specialist with over 16 years of extensive experience in project planning, financing, execution, and policy development at both national and multilateral levels. My career has been driven by a fundamental belief: infrastructure is about people.
Throughout my career, I have led complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure projects across diverse contexts — from conflict-affected regions in Northeast Nigeria to multinational corridors under the ECOWAS Commission. My work spans transportation networks, regional integration, public-private partnerships, and innovative blended financing mechanisms.
Notable achievements include contributing to the financial structuring leading to a $180 million USD EBID financing package for the Kano-Maradi railway (Nigeria–Niger); supporting the development of the National Infrastructure Master Plan for Cabo Verde; leading the $150 million Amilcar Cabral Submarine Cable Project supported by the World Bank WARDIP program; and supporting financial structuring for EBID's participation in the $500 million Lagos–Calabar coastal highway project.
Currently serving as Senior Transport Expert at the ECOWAS Project Preparation and Development Unit (PPDU), I lead initiatives to prepare a $40 billion regional portfolio of transport, energy, and ICT infrastructure projects across West Africa. Fully multilingual in English (C2), French (C1), Hausa, Bette, Beebo, and Efik.
